Rosie Huntington-Whiteley hates being “worn” by make-up and clothes.

The British model-and-actress has a failsafe beauty regime when it comes to looking her best. The beauty is sparing with products.

“I don’t like to be worn by make-up or worn by clothes,” she told People. “It’s all about enhancing what you have. I want to feel as close to my natural self as I can at all times. So, unless I’m doing a crazy photo shoot, I want to feel like myself.”

Rosie prefers a natural look. The 24-year-old shies away from colour on her lips.

“It’s not my favourite piece of make-up,” she revealed. “I don’t [put] anything on my lips… I think it can get a bit much.”

Rosie has revealed her day-to-day routine. The stunning star is serious about the upkeep of her eyebrows above anything else.

“It’s one thing that I always pay close attention to,” she said. “If you can’t afford to maintain your hair, don’t dye it. I really am very conscious about wearing sun cream. I find it really important to religiously moisturise and exfoliate.”

Rosie insists she can get ready in a reasonable amount of time. The gorgeous star doesn’t fuss when it comes to preparing herself for the day ahead.

“It’s not a long process because I don’t like to spend a long time fussing over things,” she revealed. “I give myself an hour-and-a-half [or] two-hour time frame from being naked to getting dressed and walking out the door.”

She’s made no secret of her desire to branch out into acting, and her debut role in Transformers: Dark Side Of The Moon was no mean effort. However it seems Rosie Huntington-Whiteley isn’t getting complacent, and is prepared to push herself to the very limit to ensure she gives Hollywood exactly what it wants. The 24-year-old reportedly works with an incredible three personal trainers to keep in model shape.

Whatever it takes: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, pictured at the Moet & Chandon Etoile Awards party, has reportedly enlisted three personal trainer The star described her regime in an interview which appears in this week’s issue of Grazia magazine.

‘It takes lots and lots of hard work. I have three personal trainers- James Duigan in London, Jason Walsh in LA,  and my friend Justin in New York,’ Rosie explained. ‘That means there’s no excuse not to be at the gym wherever I go.

The model’s London trainer James also works with Elle ‘The Body’ Macphereson, so it’s no wonder she trusts him with her figure when she’s on home turf.

‘It’s such a simple confidence boost and I find it really important, especially as I’ve got older,’ she confessed .’I like to train as many days of the week as I can,’ added Rosie.

James has revealed to Grazia that his diligent client once pushed herself with an incredible 18 workouts in six days prior to a Transformers promotion shoot. Taking it too far? Rosie looked very thin when she turned up for the Tom Ford Dinner at London’s 45 Park Lane Hotel earlier this month

Rosie is currently the face of the new Marks and Spencers Autograph campaign. Though the gym clearly forms the backbone of her regime, it doesn’t stop there for Rosie.

‘Everything starts with exercise. Then you want to look after yourself and put good food into your body,’ she divulged.

Ambition: Rosie’s debut effort Transformers: Dark Of The Moon was a huge hit.

I have a really good response when I cut out carbs so that’s something I always do before a big event.’

The Victoria’s secret model moved to LA to live with her boyfriend, Transporter star Jason Statham, earlier this year.

Rosie gets homesick for England

The 24-year-old model – who was born in Plymouth, South West England, and grew up on a farm in the county of Devon – currently lives in Los Angeles with boyfriend Jason Statham, but finds it hard because there is no “community” in the Californian city.

She told the UK edition of Grazia magazine: “I miss England, especially the culture and camaraderie. In Los Angeles there’s no community.

“But Hollywood is really geared up for fitness. The gym is one of my priorities.”

The ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ actress recently purchased a cottage back in the UK so she could escape her celebrity lifestyle.

A source revealed: “Rosie’s just bought a cottage on the edge of Dartmoor. With its eerie, foggy moor it’s the perfect place for her to hide away.

“Now she’s globally famous, Rosie is fed up with the attention. Things have been going crazy since she started dating Jason Statham. She can now switch off, close her cottage doors and hide.”

Rosie’s personal trainer reveals how to lose weight fast

Think losing weight is all about cutting calories and hours spent burning calories in the gym? There might just be an easier way. Last week, new research found chewing food for longer may help you lose weight. So maybe it’s not what you eat, but how you eat it. And now, James Duigan – personal trainer to Elle Macpherson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – and Femail’s expert nutritionists Dr Marilyn Glenville and Kim Pearson reveal how to lose weight without even trying…

It’s simple according to new research, the longer you spend chewing, the less calories you consume. A study found people who chewed each mouthful 40 times ate 12 per cent less food than those who chewed just 15 times, leading researchers to suggest eating quickly, gorging and binge eating could have a substantial effect on being overweight.

The study also showed obese participants chewed less and ingested more quickly than slimmer ones. Experts believe chewing for longer prevents over-eating by giving the brain more time to receive signals from the stomach that it is full. It is also thought to lower levels of ghrelin, the ‘hunger hormone’, circulating in the digestive system, meaning eating more slowly can be a simple and effective way of tackling weight problems. ‘The mouth is the first part of your digestive system so chewing your food properly is the start of an efficient mechanical breakdown of what you eat,’ says female nutrition specialist, Dr Marilyn Glenville.

‘It also takes around 20 minutes for the stomach to register it is full so chewing thoroughly slows you down and can help prevent you overeating and gaining weight. Take your time chewing and you’ll find you don’t want or need as much food at meals.’

‘Chewing properly liquidises food to ensure your body can digest it efficiently and absorb maximum nutrients,’ adds James Duigan, author of Flat Tummy Fast and celebrity personal trainer (bodyism.com). ‘As it takes time to register you’re full, takes a 20 minute before your next course and you might feel you don’t need any more.’

ALWAYS EAT WITHIN AN HOUR OF WAKING UP

Experts agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is clinically proven that people who eat breakfast are generally lighter, slimmer and less prone to cravings than those who skip a morning meal. 

The body’s internal chemistry is at its most active first thing in the morning, so anything eaten then will be used to the maximum and recent research has found that people lost twice as much body fat when they consumed half their daily calories at breakfast.

‘Always eat within an hour of waking up,’ advises James Duigan. ‘After going without food for hours during the night, the body is ready to refuel.

Putting off eating or missing breakfast altogether slows down your metabolism and can lead to sugar cravings and long-term weight gain. 

‘What you eat first thing will determine what your body wants for the rest of the day so avoid sugary cereals and pastries and make healthy choices always including some filling protein like eggs and smoked salmon.’
